James is not only the creative driving force at J Fuller Builders Limited, visualising and defining style and structure of construction and bringing it to life, he is also a strategist and a strong leader. James ensures the company is constantly moving towards fulfilling its short and long-term objectives and that it does not diverge from its own strategic guidelines. He inspires and motivates his team by having an extensive understanding of the entire construction process, from both technical and creative points of view.

James has a keen interest in trends in construction, financial and economical research and technological developments, and how these translate into new opportunities for the company and for our clients​.


​Laura-Marie Chalmers
Senior Estimator & PA to Director

Laura-Marie has a logical, methodical and problem-solving personality developed through studying elements of Chemistry, Mathematics and Statistics to Masters degree level at University.

Her specialities lie in being able to simplify, collate and convey complex data and the insights gathered, to identify issues and opportunities that will enhance the design and cost effectiveness of projects, as well as being business minded.

Laura-Marie works closely with the director to creatively develop and push the company forward towards an exciting future.

​Commercial & Business Development Manager


Garry is highly numerate, commercially aware and an effective negotiator. He is responsible for directing strategic planning, including presentational and promotional plans effectively to both our business associates and to our clients. His strategic planning is done in collaboration with the management team to ensure an integrated work provision is delivered to each client.

With over 25 years experience in commercial and business management, Garry develops effective working relationships with business professionals including Architects and our clients. He provides all of the key functions that go into creating and maintaining the companies new and existing clients.

Garry is also involved in solving problems, managing internal and external communications and documenting the progress of the company.
